Zeineb Ben Chaaben is a doctoral researcher at the University Hospital rechts der Isar, within the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. She obtained both her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and her M.Sc. in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich. During her Master’s thesis, she focused on self-supervised PET image reconstruction using variational networks with Bernoulli masking. Her current doctoral research centers on developing a multi-task deep learning framework for the detection and characterization of large bowel wall thickening, as part of a project on AI-based analysis of abdominal malignancies in cross-sectional imaging.
