Melanie Maier is a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Computational Imaging and AI in Medicine at Technical University of Munich (TUM). She received her B.Sc. in Mathematics from TUM, as well as her M.Sc. in Mathematics in Data Science. In her Master’s thesis at the Chair of AI in Healthcare and Medicine at TUM and the Biosignalanalysis group at TUM University Hospital, she worked on PVC detection from long-term ECGs. Her doctoral research focuses on 3D reconstruction from 2D ultrasound imaging data.
