Gideon Rouwendaal is a doctoral researcher at the Institute of Machine Learning in Biomedical Imaging (IML), Helmholtz Munich. He received his B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and his M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from University of Amsterdam. In his Master’s thesis at the Dutch Cancer Institute (NKI), he worked on a multimodal framework to predict erectile dysfunction using preoperative MRI and clinical data. His doctoral research focuses on image reconstruction, uncertainty quantification, and trustworthy AI for quantitative MRI within the IQ-BRAIN consortium.
